Just booked our first O cruise for November.

The booking says "beverage package" select non alcoholic drinks.

Is that ice tea, coffee, etc or soft drinks too?

Also, is it correct that dinner in the dining rooms start at 7pm?

Does food service start earlier in the buffet?

Thank you.

No selection of non alcoholic drinks as those are all included anytime. Tea, soft drinks, all types of coffee, sparkling or still water. Once in your stateroom let your steward know your favorites and they will make sure your fridge is always supplied.

Not sure if the same hours on all ships. But on our recent cruise on Vista they all opened at 6:30, specialty, Grand Dining Room and Terrace Cafe. Welcome to Oceania!

IIRC, the Dinner times begin at 6:30 p.m. for all venues.  Sometimes, if the ship is totally booked, and the cruise is a shorter one, then the Specialty Restaurants may occasionally allow 6:00 p.m. reservations.  Enjoy your cruise!

Did you book O life perk?

All non alcoholic beverages are included  in the fare  exception is  the new Non Alcoholic Lyre brand cocktails

As noted above  restaurants open at 6:30 pm

Tea and coffee (iced, regular, and espresso)  and soft drinks are complimentary to all passengers,

Moreover if something they don't normally stock is your thing, let Special Services@OceaniaCruises.com (through your TA if you have one) know and they'll keep a stash of it in your cabin fridge -- refilled daily.

Not necessarily. Depends on what is in stock. Best bet is to make your request to O (direct or via TA) at least a month pre-cruise.

To clarify...  Oceania *will* special order your favourite if it's not normally stocked aboard your ship.  If the shoreside supplier for your voyage doesn't have it in stock, well...  😞

And, yes, do give them time to mangle the paperwork.

Did you have "OLife" as part of your booking and you chose the beverage package instead of shore excursions? I'm thinking that you possibly have the "House Select" beverage package which includes certain wines and beer at lunch and dinner.

Just curious, which ship and which cruise? (We're on Riviera in the Med in November. First Trieste to Athens and then Athens to Barcelona.)

Waves grill does serve food until 4 pm out by the pool, starboard, aft. They have some nice items. Just don't eat so much there or then that you don't have room for dinner!

Also, save room for afternoon tea (4pm-5) in Horizons, and maybe a steak from Room Service to get you from 5 to 6:30.  🙂

If I may borrow your Newbie thread for just a moment, I have two quick Potential Newbie questions. Does Oceania provide shuttles from the ship if you want to do your own thing? Does the * after "Airport Transfers" indicate they are only available if you arrive on the day of embarkation?

Thanks!

After would be  at the end of the cruise

If you book O air  they would be included

They will not pick you up from a hotel that you booked on your own & take you to the airport

If you do not use O air  you can purchase  the transfers for a fee  usually embarkation & disembarkation day

or just take a taxi/UBER etc..depending on the port

There is  a Sticky at the top of the forum for shuttles in port stops  they are usually provided by the port
