I have a shuttle picking me up at 10am at the end of an Allure cruise in Galveston.

What time do you think I will need to leave the ship?

When they start announcing your name after 9AM.

You may want to have them pick you up at 9 o’clock instead. It is insanely hot, waiting outside, and they will likely kick you out by 9 o’clock.

If you wait too late, not only will you be outside but you’ll start getting crazy 2-way traffic as people arrive for the next cruise.

Agree 10 am is late. I have been off before 8 am. By 10 am people are arriving for the next cruise. I'm guessing you knew the time was too late but the price was ok? It may be a wait but if you are ok with the wait, go for it. 

 

By 900 to 930 they are gathering the b2bers to walk them off and back on.

Last week I had selected the latest departure time which was 8:30 - 9:00 and was getting messages on my app at 7:50 that they had called my number.

Two weeks ago we were off the ship at 8:11 am. I would agree with 9:00 am.

We were not scheduled to be off until 9:15. Super organized.

Thanks for the information. My reasoning for 10am was not wanting to be at the airport too early for a flight,  the prior shuttle is 9am. On other ships I have left around 9am or 9:30 before but they were much smaller.

Hot does not begin to describe what it's like waiting outside in Galveston, and they will not let you wait inside. They were pretty much trying to get everyone off the ship ASAP, and the departure letter said we had to be out of our cabins by 8:00 and I think they were calling all numbers to depart by 8:15. 

 

I would just get to the airport early and relax a bit before your flight.

We were planning on getting off at 9 any issue getting a taxi or Uber or Lyft to hobby at that time we are in suite so will have concierge walk us off about then.
