Amsterdam airport issues?

My husband and I are looking at a cruise which will end in Amsterdam. I've been wanting to go to Amsterdam for a long time, but I've heard that the Amsterdam airport is a mess these days and huge lines? Does anyone here have any recent experience flying out of Amsterdam airport? Thanks!

The airport can be busy but by far not anymore with such big problems. Most problems were in the holiday period. 

Also you often can make reservations to pass security. That is where most waiting lines took places.

Flying into AMS was not a problem in June. Maybe 20-25 minutes to get through Immigration was the biggest issue.

 

We flew home from CDG, which was pretty easy for a 9:15 flight.

It was very easy airport on June 6 this year.

We had no issues in June or August this year.

I flew in on 8/31/23.   Took me about 5 minutes to get through passport control.  Flew out on 9/14/23 and was through in about 5-10 minutes.  Easy.
