Thank you for your review. We're seriously considering this cruise for 2024.

We have booked the Fjords cruise on 27 April 2024, just to let anybody who has booked that cruise, and have not been notified, that the stops at Hellesylt and Geirangerfjord have been cancelled due to road closures during that period.

An alternative stop has been arranged for Alesund (from 0800-1890hrs).

Two questions please:

1) Your hotel was the Southampton HARBOR Hotel & Spa, correct?

2) How far is the hotel from the Princess dock?  Walkable?

Yes,   Loved it !!!!   Food and service excellent.  It is pretty close to cruise terminal.  I watched her sail in that morning from my room.  People did walk with suitcases,but the hotel will drop you.  We tipped him.

Thanks!  I had looked at that hotel online and your post confirmed it as a good place to stay.

The only thing I would do differently is request early check in as the room was not ready until 3.
