Hotel recommendations in Athens

Does anyone have hotel recommendations in the Plaka area of Athens?  I am looking at the Electra Metropolis.

We stayed at the Electra Metropolis after a SeaDream cruise in August 2022 very nice. I think there might be two nearby with similar names this is the one we stayed at!

Thank you all for your comments.  I posted here because trust the opinion of fellow Windstar fans.  I have booked the Electra Metropolis.  I like the location and it has gotten very good reviews.

I have stayed at the Athens Marriot.  A good hotel but the rooftop bar and night time view of the acropolis makes it special. Recommended for that

We just left the Electra Palace last week. Second time there, great location, great pool, decent breakfast. We would recommend

We stayed at the Acropolis View Hotel a few weeks ago.  It's a very good hotel for a very good price.  It's not fancy, doesn't have a pool, the carpet in the lobby is a bit threadbare, and doesn't have a restaurant.  But they do have a bar (very reasonably priced) and breakfast is included.  And the roof has a glorious view of the Acropolis and the city.  We stayed for two nights for €275 total, and the hotel lives up to its name.  It also is about two blocks from the bus parking area for the Acropolis.
