But I think this issue is settled.  Overwhelming information that SOBC and MOBC are again combinable.

It might be settled here, but what matters is if it's settling for the people actually awarding or denying the SOBC. I don't have a high degree of confidence telling them 'somebody on cruisecritic said a Princess salesperson said they're combinable'. I'm extremely interested, because I just booked Island Princess for 14 days in November (the original itinerary map showed two Israel ports), and I'd like to get something in writing I can include with my email request.

Military benefit and CCL shares are in one name.

Applied for one CCL shareholder benefit via email (sbpcl@princesscruises.com) this morning, Fri, 20 Oct 2023, at 1140 Pacific time.  CCL shareholder OBC was in my Princess account approximately 15 mins later.

Can SOBC and MOBC be in the same name or do I need to transfer my SH to my wifes name??

Sounds like it's combinable again, but tbh, I'd still transfer it to your wife's name, b/c who knows when Princess c-suite will change their minds again.

Thanks, I may have to look into that. Have to think about getting them out of the old 401K account anyway.

I got my SOBC overnight, although I included a statement that I've seen several CVP Facebook pages said the two are now combinable, in case I got someone who hadn't gotten the memo yet. It was actually kind of a big deal for me, and I thought of going back to HAL, because they give $100 MOBC, but then I took a short HAL cruise and saw it's as dismal and boring and monotonous as it was when I left them. So now I'm a happy camper, with $500 to spend on my Island Princess Mediterranean cruise next month. The other good part about the process is the quick response time of the credits being applied, which I imagine is due to offshoring the process, instead of probably a single person in their HQ taking weeks, and who people had to call when it got too close to departure time.

Mine is not going so fast.  I applied twice in the last week or 10 days.  Nothing yet.  My cruise is 6 months away so they may be doing the credit based on cruise date.  (I'm not OCD in most things; when it comes to planning a cruise, I get a little OCD.)

We are currently half way through a cruise. The shareholder benefit was applied for several months ago but was refused. Today the credit has been applied to my onboard account.

WOW!  Kudos to Princess for this effort.

I'm in the same boat.  Reached out via the website and e-mail last week. Nothing yet.

SOBC was always Non-Ref.  MOBC used to be Ref, but no longer.

It was the MOBC that was refundable but not any more.  All other OBC was and is non-refundable so use or lose it.  Anyone on a Princess cruise right now can look at their folio and see if anything is refundable.

Isn't that what I said?  But, to be precise, all other Princess gifted OBC is Non-Ref.  I believe some guests get OBC from their TA in lieu of a cash discount on cruise fare and that is Ref.  Also, if guest purchases OBC, it is Ref.

Now I believe.

After submitting last week and getting rejected, I resubmitted today and got it applied to my account.

The response was < 1 hour.

Kudos to Princess for wisely reversing their decision and to their SHB representative who is responding so incredibly quickly.

This goes a long ways to overcoming my disappointment at losing the coffee card, losing the loyalty OBC and having the most travelled luncheon converted to a cocktail party. The ever expanding size of their new ships still bothers me, but one can't really argue with the incredible value added by their OBC programs: Shareholder, military, FCC, casino core and Amex Platinum.

On what ships was that? Recently?
