Can you book 'MyTime' Dining before the cruise

Recommended Posts

I am sailing on Symphony in Aug 24 and I have seen different info about pre-booking Specialty Dining and others BEFORE you start the cruise.

Have not seen anything about 'My Time' but saw that Oasis Class ships seem to be sticklers and waiting in lines WITHOUT reservations.

Can you prebook and if so, how far ahead of your cruise?

Yes, MTD can be booked in advance.  Keep checking.  Times vary as to when it opens.  Use the cruise planner and not the app

I thought the App on the iPhone WAS the Cruise Planner?

Different.  Cruise planner is through a computer not the app.  Many differences and through the cruise planner you can book and reserve a lot more things.

Go to royalcaribbean.com and upper right corner sign in

Thanks!!!  If you choose ur mytime dining based on shows/entertainment when do they show up so you know when to NOT BOOK?

What happens if you book and then a show is changed and you need to cancel/rebook?

If I look at other sailings on Symphony (I think its in Europe now) are the show times pretty consistent?

You can claim a dinner time through the app (iPhone or Android, makes no difference) as soon as you've booked your cruise.  I've reserved dinner times a year in advance; maybe more.

Don't worry about the shows.  You'll be able to attend, and -- if you want -- you can edit your reservations later.  Of course, the closer you get to sailing, the fewer time slots that'll be available.  That's why it's smart to go ahead and grab what you think you want NOW.

I signed in, checked in and have all the various Information but do not see any way to choose my time dining.  Where is it found? When I go to the dining tab all I see is reservations which it does not allow me to do in MTD

Scroll all the way down past other dining options and select MTD, that brings up another screen with a "RESERVE" button...select that.

If that is not coming up are you sure that you have MTD and not early or late dining

I just booked the Voyager OS today for 1/27/24 on an online TA.  Picked My Time on the website.  It might be different on the larger ships.  Dining times were 5:30, 8:00 and MT.

OP was talking about booking specific times each day on MTD

Once the cruise is booked go to your RC cruise planner (through computer Web page, not RC app).

Once you see your booking click on 'plan my cruise' and you can book specific times under Dinning Heading. First it shows all the fee for specialised dinning and at the bottom you can book MTD slots.

The closer to your cruise the more stuff you can book, like shore excursions, drink packages and shows (Oasis class only, not necessary on other class's)
