Several people currently on the Viva say Clarence is not there.  They think he might be on the Joy.  He had said that he was going to more only a couple more contracts and then retire.  It was last Spring when he said that.

Yesterday we had lunch for the first time in Indulge on this cruise, and we were really hyped to go as we loved Indulge on our last Prima cruise in May 2023. 
 

But we’re somehow disappointed as some of our favorite items were not on the lunch menu anymore. At Nudls they used to have a pasta dish that was super yummy and at Latin quarter they had the tuna tostada, both gone! 
Not sure if they are gone as part of cutbacks, or there is another reason, but I also noticed that the salchisas from the Rotisserie used to be those typical thick  sausages, are now thin versions and look really sad. 

But on the positive side, the Tamara (Indian venue), is still as amazing as we remember from last time.

as late as november 4th, when i disembarked, he was holding court in sugar cane on the joy.

 

i couldn't tell you if he is still onboard, but he was as of just a few weeks ago.

Very fancy dinner! That looks like John from Hawaii second from right. Met him on the Prima back in March. 

We had the same Thanksgiving menu on the Viva. I thought the turkey and trimmings were good. Also tasted the pumpkin cheesecake, pecan pie, sweet potato bread pudding, and blackberries/cherries with sabayon, because I could not possibly decide on one dessert. That would be wrong.

This just around the corner from midship elevators & stairs at 7 AM, opposite someone's balcony cabin  ... still there an hour later, someone can easily tripped on it 🙄  Common sense, idiots 😤 

 

 

Too early to dock at 8 AM  ?? as we are barely moving

This is the local Dollar Store, unofficial stop for ship crews on the waterfront, 3 blocks from ship terminal. Largest collection of iPhones & Samsung smartphone cases. Shopping done for Susan, myself & our friends.

Earlier, our private tour guide was waiting for us inside the cruise terminal building, and with Mike & Janet together, we walk a short distance into the Toyota van to start off the tour, beginning with a quick spin in city centre.  Series A

I interrupt the regular upload for ... watch is on for about 8 Pier runners at 3:45 PM, all abroad was 3:30 with a 4 PM sailing. We got back into our cabin & boarded the ship at about 3:15 PM.

We ended up buying closed to 100 € this afternoon with 2 shopping bags full of holiday gifts, lol.  These 220v to 110v outlet adapter is just 2.50 € each or about $2.75 USD+taxes, not easily found elsewhere & Amazon for much more.

 

USB charging port only puts out 1.5A, adequate for slow trickle-charging ..

Nice to be surprised everytime we return to our cabin, except the disposable generic slippers delivered to us (didn't ask for them) weren't good enough for Mr. Bigfoot.  Ponta 's crew store got my size and it's lightweight and should be good for a couple of cruises. Now, I can sit out on the balcony without being barefoot. 

 

 

 

Coffee supplies got replenished - used 2 pods to brew a strong 8 oz. cup 👍

Ponta Delgarda photos - Series CS ...

Setes Cidades (Blue Lakes) a massive volcanic crater three miles across, the parish is on the north side of the island, water from these lakes channeled via viaducts into populated areas as drinking water.
