And, not trying to start a tipping argument here but, you should tip the bartender for the free drink. There is no gratuity added to the free drink like it is automatically added to a paid for drink.

😲😱

Bartenders are not required to provide receipts for passengers with the DBP, drinks based on loyalty status and drinks for Prime and above at the casino bar. They are required to provide receipts for passengers ordering drinks without any package or status.

They did it all 9 days on my Vision Cruise.  Except cococay.

Better tell the Crew on Jewel then. "Everyone" was getting paper receipts.

I guess that wanted  to better  their odds of getting a tip added on.

I have been on Freedom, Adventure and Independence in the last two months. There was no consistency on these ships when it came to providing receipts for D+ drinks.

Was this your experience as a diamond or above on your recent cruise (ship)?

My last cruise was on Freedom less than two weeks ago. The only bar that provides receipts for D+ drinks was Schooner. I paid for maybe a half dozen drinks during the cruise. I was provided a receipt for these drinks.

Not the case on Jewel in September on Jewel., Diamond Plus also got paper receipts at Lobby Bar,Schooner Bar,Safari Club,Pool Bar,Bar in the Solarium, MDR and Theater .

Guess some ship have better  counting system on alcohol usage.

Consistently, inconsistent fleetwide.

I don't think that they are being told to do that.  We just got off from 2 weeks on the Odyssey yesterday.  This isn't regarding voucher drinks, but we had the drink package.  We were not given a receipt in any venue by any bartender, ever.  They wouldn't all be ignoring management directive.

Drink packages never have a receipt in my experience.  For, this was a perk that enhanced the value of the package.

Diamond voucher drinks are hit or miss.

My experience has been the same…I have never received a receipt when ordering a drink when I had the deluxe beverage package.
