It's another very windy, rocky day at sea! Met a fellow at lunch who has. been on 100+ cruises; he said he has never seen it like this for so long on a cruise!

Eek - they may want to consider including a pack of motion sickness pills w/the Daily.

I'm on the "Rockerdam" this cruise, too.  The seas have been very rough this week.  I'm hoping we can tender into Half Moon Cay tomorrow!

Weather for tomorrow at HMC.......not looking that great.  Maybe it will improve!

A quick question.  During your CO breakfast are the waiters coming to your table with a tray of pastries or are you having to ask for a specific pastry?

During our Alaska cruise in May on the Koningsdam every morning we were presented with a tray of pastries to make a selection yet in Nov on the Koningsdam we weren't offered the tray and had to request a pastry when we placed on order.

We were on Oosterdam for 26 days in November and were not offered pastry unless we ordered it and were served only one which was a fresh fruit topped Danish that was hard and stale on several occasions.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it mentioned before on cruise critic, though I’m sure it has. But we noticed the coolest Easter egg with the stairwell are. It told you where you were on the shop! As in,

Buildings in the Bow

Music in the Middle

Animals in the Aft.

Now, I’m wondering if I just missed cool mnemonics like this on other HAL ships. Or if someone was having fun here.

I would love it if this worked, would safe some packing space!  If at all possible, can you come back and let us know if it fit?  I had measured the opening on the one on the ship and it was pretty large.  Also, it's tapered but with the silicone grips on this diffuser, as long as it fits on, it should stay in place.  Thanks for coming back with this info!

I got off the Rotterdam last Friday and as promised, I am coming back to report that my travel diffuser works perfectly on the supplied blow dryer in the cabin.

After a long day of airports and planes, we have made it home safely.

If you have a Rotterdam cruise in your future I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to all.

Just got off in December and loved this ship! Also we had room service breakfast every day of our nine day cruise and the pastries were delicious, had raisin buns, danish and croissants with little pots of jam. She’s a beauty.
