Genessa Posted December 9, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2023 Hi everyone , seasoned cruiser, but first time on Celebrity. I tried searching for a while but can’t find the info I am looking for can I charge casino money to my room - slots or table games, as a room charge, or should I just bring gambling cash with me? thanks, Aggie

boontj2003 Posted December 9, 2023 #4 Share Posted December 9, 2023 You will be charged 5% if you charge your room. I would bring cash to avoid that!

marieps Posted December 9, 2023 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2023 If you have OBC, you can charge to your room on a machine. Put 50% at risk and you may cash out the rest as hard currency.

HI boontj2003, I have been searching for this answer on Celebrity's website, even the FAQ link provided above, and cannot find a reference to a fee. My specific question is this: If a person has a credit card linked to their on board account (which is required), and you purchase casino chips at a table and charge them to your account, is there a fee charged? Have you been charged the 5% recently?

Have you been charged the 5% recently? I’m Amethyst on Celebrity, so don’t pay a fee. When I did not have casino status, yes they charge you.
