Door hangings

Does Holland allow door hangings?   We are going on Rotterdam tomorrow and don’t know if a magnet will hold our decoration?

They do allow them and we see quite a few. Your magnets will work on the door. Enjoy your cruise!

We used Command strips. They're removable.

 

We also use button cell powered fairy lights. They don't heat up. After five years away from cruising, we had to up our game.

Our door for 35 nights on the K'dam.  I had many comments from passersby, saying the flowers helped them find their cabins!

I am not a fan of the door decorations, with the exception of during the holidays.  For that reason, I am taking large magnetic Easter eggs, bunnies, and flowers for a 'grandchild' cruise this coming spring. 🐰

We always decorate our door. My husband has memory problems and it helps him know when he is “home”!

We have an Easter cruise this year and the chick decorations will be on our door.

We cruise next week!!! for the holidays.  I bought window clings for the door last month on the K & they wouldn't stick, so I put them on the glass doors inside the cabin.  I bought more window clings for this next cruise & a cheap Christmas decoration with magnets just in case my window clings don't stay on the door again.

Magnets work, be careful with cling art (esp. cheap ones?) -- if the ink runs they will charge you for re-surfacing the door! This is not my sign, but observed on the K'dam last new years.
