Phone has recharged a bit, so I'm able to take pictures again. Y'all know I do like taking pictures 😏

Theater is filling up for the early showing of "Gravity." I have not seen this before - another 1st!

This cutie was waiting for me when I stopped by cabin to grab my phone. There was a chocolate (the old Square one w/HAL logo) and a note re time change.

You can read about the time change, but I ate the chocolate. 🫣

Also basket of clean laundry - I'll spare you that picture, lol.

I love the towel animals but missed the eyes so on our November Eurodam cruise brought eyes 😁

This was in the Daily, but I totally forgot to mention tonight at Tamarind is a special menu.

 

I could not find the menu on the Navigator or the TV, but found this someone had shared from a previous cruise (maybe it's correct).

Poor timing on my hunger this evening. I wasn't hungry at dinner time, so I skipped MDR. Tummy said "feed me" at 830, but Lido was closed.

So...

Mint chocolate chip gelato w/waffle cone party hat - poolside at the big screen.

This is dinner and a show at its finest, lol.

Popcorn aplenty...

I don't recall seeing anything in this thread on The Rolling Stones Rock Room band. They are excellent on this sailing. Best of the handful of our cruises that had this venue. Their performance at the New Years Eve party was memorable.

On many of my annuary/February trips to the "Big Island" there was both water skiing and snow skiing available on the same day.

@Haljo1935...how has the air conditioning been on the ship in the evenings?  I usually need long sleeves or a sweater when we got out and about to the venues.

Just wanted to make a comment about your Sacher Torte a couple of posts ago - we absolutely love them. Actually, we went o the Hotel Sacher in Vienna in 2016. Loved theirs so much I ordered two whole tortes for our 50th Anniversary a couple of months later. They were shipped to my home near Seattle from Vienna. About $150 for two delivered. Worth every penny as we shared them with about 30 friends.

In October 2023, we spent a week in Amsterdam. I am so looking forward to our "Orange Party" in January 2025.

Note that each diner receives EVERYTHING on the menu.  Giant sampler plate.  An enjoyable experience but very filling.

Yes, they have been very good. Apologies for not saying so - they have definitely been the stars of the entertainment during this cruise!!

Bringing something with sleeves is a great idea - I've been wearing a lightweight long sleeve shirt like a jacket around the ship. So much so, people probably think I wear the same clothes everyday, lol. I do not need it in the library,  though. Thermostat in the cabin stays about in the middle. The line may be hard to see.

Guys, quick geography lesson.......Denmark is not Holland. Danish is not Dutch.  HAL has no connection with Denmark.  The ships are registered in Holland.  The accession of the Danish monarchy has no relevance, so why would the captain of a Dutch registered ship mention it?
