First Platinum Cruise in 3 Weeks

We sail on January 20th - my online check-in day is January 4 so the Platinum Perks have begun!

I was Gold for quite some time but never took advantage of the gold perks - mainly because I didn't take time to study what was available.  I am such an over planner I am surprised I neglected this.  I think we redeemed two of the free drinks on the last night, one 1.5 liter bottle of water, none of the pins.

When I started cruising it was so luxurious and handed to us, I didn't realize we had to keep track and keep score dang it!

Please let me know what Platinum Perks you suggest, enjoy, and how to request or accept them.

Congratulations on becoming Platinum!!

As for the perks, it's kind of a scavenger hunt to get them, but as I'm Platinum and was just on the Magic last month, perhaps I can help.  The pin and the gift (a fanny pack in my case; yours might be different as they change up every so often) can be picked up at the same time in Pixels.  You can grab the 1.5L water bottle from the cabin.  I suggest letting your cabin steward know what you're doing and why so you don't get charged for it.  Go to the casino cashier to pick up the $25 in free play (chips or slot - your choice).  You can combine the "chocolate delight" with another room service delivery if you like.

The bags of laundry are very nice and the best Platinum perk, IMHO.  Ask your steward for more bags if you need them.  I think the ship does good work, but I suggest not trusting them with anything that's TOO delicate or fragile or would cause you incredibly heartache if they lost or ruined it.

All perks listed are good and I take advantage of them but priority departure to tenders is great especially for Half Moon Cay or Princess Cay and priority departure from ship at end of cruise is also welcome especially if you drive to port.  Enjoy your cruise.

Just off the MG last week and the pin and fanny pack gifts were the same.  Priority boarding was great in PC (this port is very well organized in MG terminal) and we stepped foot on ship at 10:35 am).  Free laundry (up to 3 bags per person) is one of our fav perks as going home with clean, folded laundry is a plus for us.  We typically (DS mostly) will order the chocolate delight (Choco covered strawberries for cabin) but did not get around to it last week (just call room service and they will deliver).

We do attend the plat and diamond get together (we had unlimited drinks last week you just had to go back and get them as they dont seem to walk around with them like in the past) as well as use the free drink voucher on our account.  You will also get a $25 free play credit for casino per person, just go to casino cage and have them add it to players account.

Congrats on milestone and have a blast!

Congrats.

-You will need to call room service for your free chocolate delight. We typically ask for cookies instead.

-As mentioned, Pixels for pin/gifts . Casino for $25, Any bar for water.

-Laundry is really great for not delicate items. I wish we had self control to bring LESS clothing and let team do laundry...just never happens.

- Early boarding time selection is nice too.

Don't forget to proudly wear your Platinum Sign & Sail card on your lanyard so all the serfs know you are royalty. We nobles have a secret handshake that you will be taught during your cruise. 😆

Enjoy the perks. Laundry is the best. My wife and I now travel the world with nothing but a carry-on and a backpack, each.  And definitely go to the D&P party. You'll get a nice invitation in your cabin. Typically the CD will ask newly minted Plats (and also Diamonds) to stand and be acknowledged via applause.

The P/D party on the Mardi Gras is different due to the location.  Most other ships, there are drink waiters roaming with trays and you can order your beverage of choice

This is what I saw at the party I attended on the Magic last month.
