If you look at the daily highlights, where the shows are listed, it tells you there. You can also get in the shows using the standby line.

We are on a 4 night on Allure at the end of February and I noticed the entertainment options were available to reserve last week. The Comedy show was one.

Showed mama Mia needing reservations but nothing noted below on comedy show. Maybe an error. We’ve always reserved the comedy’s show on allure previously. Thanks! Edited January 11 by maggieq

In other words, does it make sense to reserve in each venue? Give it a try...only let us book one of them on cruise last week. Highly recommend water show, Mama Mia and the Ice show (Blades). Suggest water show on first night, as it tends to be cancelled later in the cruise if rough seas/inclement weather (also allows ya to see it multiple times if you desire).
