What does "not currently available" mean?

I know the question sounds stupid but the cruises in question were listed as available before. We are on a 2 day seacation  Sydney to Brisbane cruise on Royal on April 6, and our cruise is listed ok but the bigger cruise it is a part of (we are the first leg), 21 days Sydney to Tokyo is now "not currently available", as is the third leg 19 days Brisbane to Tokyo. Of course it is hard not to worry that our little one might be cancelled (though it is in Australia at that point anyway). I am sure I have come across the notation in the past but can't remember what it actually means. Can anyone advise?

Check the cruise without logging in.  I have seen the "not currently available" when I've been logged in but not when I am logged out.  I surmised it had to do with the casino offers not being available.  Hopefully this works for you and puts you at ease.

Nope, no change. Our cruise is still fine but the bigger cruise it is a part of is still not currently available. I am suprised more people have not seen this and could help. Why would casino offers be relevant?

When you have casino offers the cruises show as $0 for inside cabins for eligible cruises.  Last year we started seeing the "not currently available" message and figured it had to be related to the casino pricing because if we logged out we did not see that message.

But probably more likely just another website glitch!

Yep, usually when I see “not availed” on Princess web site I translate “we are too stupid to sell cabins”🤣

We booked our Round Australia 28 day cruise almost 25 months in advance on the morning reservations opened for elites and mini-suites sold out within minutes and within days that entire itinerary switched to "currently not available" and remained so with only a few openings as reservations were canceled in advance (sometimes it opened for just a couple of cabins available).  That cruise had 2 segments and one of them sold out way in advance and was listed "currently not available" but the other had cabins available until close to sailing.

The unavailable cruises have just come back as available with cabins available in all categories, so all good now. Still not sure why it happened, agree that it might have been due to cabins being released for sale as it is now only 2 months off. It must be interesting for them to apportion cabins when there are 3 segments to a cruise.

The cruise is sold out. That is what that means for the 21 day and 19 days.

Really weird, both other legs came up as available this morning but now all 3 legs (including ours) are coming up as unavailable. Don't they normally say "sold out" if it is really sold out?

Changes all the time. People cancel out and cabins become available .i. e. Sickness etc. It is a sold out cruise though. No they seem to say unavailable now. I have a cruise in 2 weeks and this has been happening now for a few weeks. Enjoy your 2 night cruise though.

Enjoy yours too! This is our 1st cruise since Antartica 4 years ago (thanks Covid) and unreasonably looking forward to it!

Cruises are definitely different since Covid, but you will have a great time too. I am on that one to for the 21 nights.

We went to Japan a few years ago on the Diamond and loved it.

Can I ask what are the main changes since covid cruising?

We were on Diamond in November around Japan, and had previously cruised on her in 2018. I really didn't notice any differences post-pandemic. Crooners was as crowded as usual, the Wheelhouse was usually quieter. They still had PES happy hour in Skywalkers. The MDRs were the same and the buffet was organized chaos as usual. We loved the Japanese additions to the menu and had a wonderful cruise.
