San Pedro - Bliss - Haven

When our taxi/uber pulls into Cruise Port, is there a sign for Haven to go through security or do we get into the long line in the tent that I have seen on YouTube?

The first thing you have to do is go through port security.

I don't recall seeing a separate line for that.

When you walk up to the entrance tent, tell the people working there that you have a Haven room. I don't believe you need to stand in the line outside the tent. There is a line for Haven guests inside the tent that you will be directed to.

Correct.
AFTER you go through security there will be a sign and a person directing Haven passengers to the correct checkin. And then you will be directed to the Haven waiting lounge.

There is no separate line for Haven at security, once in there is a person at a podium asking if you’re in the Haven, they will get someone to walk you over to check in which is close by the Haven waiting area with snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks. 
 

when we did it security was empty at approx 1030. Check in took moments and were sitting in the waiting area until boarding started at around 1100

Hopefully it's not rude to piggyback on this thread, but I have a somewhat related question. My wife and I are also traveling on the Bliss in the Haven out of San Pedro. We'll be taking Metro's J bus from downtown LA and walking into the port. Is it best to walk in from the gate at A St & Swinford St, as Google Maps recommends?

Bliss is usually parked at Berth 92.

That helps. It looks like it's less than a 10 minute walk from the bus stop at Beacon/1st, assuming we can walk in the gate at 1st.

Yes, I just looked at google maps. Change to street view.  There is a picture of the parking lot.  Looks very easy.

You will be able to walk in the gate at 1st st. It’s not a manned gate.
