When do dining reservations open? (Sun Princess)

I'm booked on Sun Princess in May.  Fare fully paid and most functionality on the app works, but it won't let me make any dining reservations.  Does anyone know how far in advance those open?  All it says is no times are available. The app sucks for not being more informative.

I would try the web version in the cruise personalizer. Sometimes the app is just plain wonky!

I received a call from my PCC a couple of days ago about the sale that Princess was having.  While I had her on the phone I complained about the app (new version) and being unable to make dinning reservations for my June cruise. She told me that the cruise had to be paid in full before the app would allow you to make reservations as it was showing " can't load the content". I informed her that the cruise had been paid in full and had been paid for several months before the final payment date. She verified my information and stated she would send an internal communication to the department that handles it. Last night I got an email from her telling me that my dinner reservation for the table for 2 and time requested had been secured.

We are also booked on Sun Princess May & have the same problem.  Was told by customer service that if we can not book by 60 days out to call again & they will help us.  Taking this with a grain of salt since we got 2 other excuses about app problems before this but this rep seemed to know more than the other two previous.

I read on another thread that only the first few sailings on Sun have dining reservations available.  They may be waiting until the ship gets her first voyage in, before opening up other sailings.

They announced that dinner reservations are only available until I think March 29.  In the past with new ships, that except for the first few cruises, you cannot make reservations until the ship actually sails.

I've booked 2 cruises, Sun in July, Sky in October. I've booked reservations for October,  but unable to reserve July dinner times or venues?

Obviously Sun princess not allowing reservations for some reason.

Yes this is very frustrating. I book casino offers and when booked I have to pay in full - the only benefit I get is to book dining reservations but not this time 😏
