Regal Princess ship - Galveston area hotel - transportation

We have our transportation from/to the airport. Do you have any suggestions of transportation from the hotels in the Galveston area TO the Regal ship? It looks like NONE of these hotels have any shuttle service or anything like that.

Not any more. You will have to go with a local service as discussed on this board, usually Uber if you can get it.
 

Who did you eventually book with from the airport?

I'll be honest, I have no clue who my d-i-l got for transportation from the airport to the hotel, and to pick us up from the ship and take us to the airport.

I stayed at Harbour House last weekend AARP rate. They had a shuttle to Regal.  Other hotels & ships shared the bus.

Dog, that is interesting. I gather??? if a person was staying at another hotel, they would have to be AARP members?

I do not know. Harbour House offered me a discounted rate. Senior, AARP, etc.  the other hotels I searched did not.

Many hotels offer AAA or AARP discounts; you will just have to check,

You can walk to Regal Princes from both Harbor House or Treamont

I just booked with Home 2 Suites by Hilton and used my AARP card, senior discount and AAA.  Really overkill so really only needed one.  Free cancelation available up to 6 days before registration.  We got a great rate as our stay is not on the weekend.

Candy4040, that's great. We wound up paying about $160 per night pp. It was in a perfect location, so if we wanted to, we could do a lot of walking to various places.
