Pick Your Own Stateroom

I have not been able to find any itineraries that allow me to pick my own cabin, even on dates that are 2 years out.  Is this something new on RCC or just the ship/itinerary I am choosing.  Have not been on RCC for several years.

I'm not sure what is going for you but we always pick our cabin. What ship and sailing?

Likely neither - it’s either a temporary IT glitch either with RCI or your browser.

It was my browser..however I have since found out that if I need 5 in a cabin, which I do, I have to cal RCC for availability?  It is a pain to talk to them and wonder if I'd be better to go through a TA..recommendations?

Sounds like a glitch. 

Yes, you must call for 5 in a cabin. 

No, it's not a pain to call them -- it's just hard to get through in the middle of the work day; instead, call early or late.  They're open until something like 11:00 pm.

Yes, a TA would be good to have for such a booking. Talk about TAs is not allowed on CC.

I'm glad this was made clear to the OP as it is not a glitch and, in our experience, you have always needed to contact the cruise line or a TA with bookings of more than 4 in a stateroom.

Very easy for a TA to see availability and to price
