Transferring a booking to a travel agent

So I just found out that you can no longer put a booking on hold with Princess, which was disappointing.  If I make a reservation and put a deposit down how long do I have to transfer it to a Travel Agent?

Bookings may only be transferred within 60 days of booking creation so long as (a) the request is made outside the Final Payment period, and (b) the booking is not paid in full.

There is also a specific form that has to be filled out, signed, and filed. I miss the old way when I could just wait until final payment before transferring the cruise to our TA and it only took a note to him with the request and the booking info.

60 days. I prefer to book myself online rather than have my agent do it. I do use a big TA so I feel I can do a better job getting what I want right away. He then takes my booking and either re-fares it to his agency price or adds on extras. I find it's easier to contact my agent or the agencies help desk that talk to a Princess res person who's usually clueless.
