I’m happy you made it in, and I hope your ride is better than ours.     We’re on the Solstice and yes, we are missing the first port.   We’re also sailing in 30 foot seas which may not sound like a lot but it is.

I think we’ll see a lot of casual footwear at formal night.

I was on the Majestic in 2022.  It’s a great ship.

Wow!  I hope the seas calm down for you.  A few years back while on the Star, we had 45 ft waves on the way to Antarctica.  Fun ride!

There surely isn't.  We've done three from there and there is nothing else like it.  I could watch that webcam all day, and I think I have today LOL.

In 2017 when we were spending a season cruising out of Sydney, I bought my mom an iPad and put a shortcut to that webcam on the Home Screen.  When I replaced her iPad in 2022, I neglected to do that (since we were no longer cruising out of Sydney) and she called me to tell me how much she missed it and that she looked at it every day. I had to correct that ASAP!  It is quite entertaining.

Pescado, I truly missed your live blogs. I have followed your blogs for many years.

You always post great tips . Thanks

Thank you!  I don’t think we’re cruise for months at a time any longer (it’s a lot of work, actually), but I’ll blog when I do cruise again.

Aww, that’s very sweet.

Boarding started around 4:30.  We have been onboard for about 45 min's.  Lines were minimal.

I was guessing around 5 based on the time they arrived and when they typically start boarding after arrival time.  Glad you went over early and stemmed the off ship shopping spree although I would probably be right there with your wife.  🙂  Hope you had a nice dinner onboard, a great sailaway from Sydney Harbor, and that you'll have a fantastic cruise.

The Quay quarter tower is my favorite building in Sydney.

We finally had our last bag delivered around 11:30 last night.  Debbie was getting nervous because that bag had most of her purchases!  🤣

The Captain announced that the 3 day ride to Picton will be quite bumpy and he was correct!  Lots of things went bump in the night!

We are going to try to squeeze into a laundry room this morning as Debbie won't send out most of our things.  Only things sent out are our socks, thongs I mean undies, and work out attire.

The suite breakfast is in the Harmony Restaurant, can't wait for my avocado eggs Benedict!

And then to the Fitness Center! 🥺

Btw, this is our first cruise using the new app.  So far, we are quite impressed with its functionality.  Much nicer than the old app.  Hopefully, it won't change our opinion as we progress on our journey.

My favorite breakfast dish, Eggs Benedict ala avocado (instead of the meat).

Sorry for the phone shadow, I couldn't get the right angle to avoid it. Sorry...

Tonight the extra dish in the Reserve Dining Room was Filet Mignon.  Knowing that we are pescatarians, they prepared a Tasmanian Salmon for us.  It was amazing!  No wine at dinner tonight, we had plenty pre-dinner at Vines!

Dinner looks delicious.

Great to see Ron Goodman on the board.  I always so enjoyed him.  Still laugh whenever I think of him in his tutu when they used to sing 'If I were not upon the sea" at the Crew show.

Have you visited the happy hour in the Suite Concierge Lounge?  In the past they have been amenable to securing our preference of wines or hard liquors for us as long as they have them on the ship.

The WiFi has been working well and I really like how easy it is to switch between devices with the new app.

The initial signing on to the internet is also much simpler, just open the Princess App and Viola!

My second favorite breakfast, the French Toast!  Debbie decided to have her coffee in bed this morning, so I was solo for breakfast.  😒

Now, off to the Fitness Center!
