We just completed the "new" New Zealand Traveler Declaration online by going to the web site link on the above Princess notice.  It was very simple and only took 5 minutes to complete.

Due to bad weather, the Majestic is arriving in Sydney tonight at 8 pm. We have some nice swells out there but the rocking isn't bad; it's raining.  See you all tomorrow!

What a superb view!  It was a nice morning but been very wet in our part of Sydney this afternoon.

I'm so sorry to see some of the players leaving us in Sydney.

 

The first SEA DAY is April 11; we will meet AFT in the Double Down Bar at the desk near the TV's. We can continue playing on the same machine or pick another,

which will be a group decision. $25 USD buy-in.

 

Slot pulls were a lot of fun during our 10-day Queensland cruise, and we won every time until today. We played on Sea Days for the whole cruise and only spent $25 AUD (which was sadly lost today.)

Fun had by all!

 

Let's get a great group together during this cruise.

Here’s the update: Seems the port just closed down. I was upfront waiting to see who was brave(stupid) enough to attempt a boarding in 39mph winds Deck 17 and above have been closed since 3 or so.. Captain just came on and we will be loitering into the wind and “hope” to get into the port sometime mid morning. Enjoy your sleep in and check status in the am.We love the motion of the ocean. Back to the bar!!

The Majestic Princess will not be in the Port of Sydney tonight as planned. The weather prevented it, and the port was closed. The captain hopes to be in port by late morning.

We had a delayed embarkation due to a "deep clean" required in December.  They said no earlier than 2 PM but they were boarding folks at noon (we couldn't get into our rooms until 4).  Obviously your situation is a LOT different than our's but if the ship does get in earlier than expected you may be able to board a little bit earlier.  No doubt it will be crazy though since folks need to be out of their hotels, and those arriving by plane this morning probably don't have anywhere to go.

 

The ferries seem to be running and the skies are clearing so hopefully that is a good sign.  I know they have "windows" where they can leave Sydney Harbour to provide the least amount of disruption to ferry operations.  Yep, happened to us on an earlier trip when we missed that window and had to wait for rush hour to be over before we could leave!

 

Hope you can stay at your hotel a bit longer...

We do have a 4 pm check-out.  I just checked with reception and we cannot keep our room past 4 pm.  If for some reason we have to spend another night, we can book a different room for the night.

 

We feel bad for the disembarking passengers that had flights this afternoon.  🥺

 

We'll be relieved when we see the Solstice leave the berth!  Stay tuned...

Ship location now showing us heading back in correct direction to Sydney. Arrival time has been updated to 1100. We'll see if this holds. No announcement from the Captain yet.

Just got under the door notice. Celebrity to leave at 0930 and we plan on arriving at Noon.
