I received a similar offer left in my room from my sailing on CB last year, but a few weeks after the cruise I received an email for free cruises (up to 3) that were valid for almost every cruise I looked at (interior room, but option to pay for upgrade). The website actually allowed me to book 5 cruises, though I had to cancel one of them. I didn't gamble a ton, so hopefully you'll see some offers. (All the upcoming Princess cruises in my signature are from the casino plus a 10-night in Australia in 2025 that I may or may not have to cancel).

Thanks for that info. I won't hold my breath, but it would certainly be nice to get something like that.

The first time you went to the casino you said there wasn't a bar in there.  My husband is going to be disappointed after seeing this Enchanted deck plan.

Oops, no one told the people responsible for maintaining the deck plans that the bar was removed last year.  And yes, it's truly gone.  We cruised with it in 2022 and without it two weeks ago.

Thanks.  We booked this cruise with a casino discount.  May not even play with no place for hubs to hang out.  Disappointing!

Please view the deck plan a little closer. Take 5 lounge AND Bar is literally ‘steps’ from the Casino floor and there is even a connecting door. Why would your hubs not be able to hang out in Take5 if you are in the Casino steps away?

All of the cabin videos and diagrams still show the barrel chairs in each cabin.

The connecting door between Take Five and the casino was locked the whole week last week. Probably because people in Take Five complained about smoke wafting in through that door. In order to go to/from the casino to Take Five, you had to go out of the casino and around to one of the doors on the ends.

 

Not sure how much things will change in the coming months. Bon told me they are shrinking Take Five and putting slot machines in over in that area where the door between Take Five and the casino is and they will be moving the band to the other end. Hopefully it the machines will still be closed off from the rest of Take Five somehow so you won't get all the noise from the machines when trying to listen to the band. I also hope this new bank of machines is non smoking.

There’s a nice jazz bar right next to the casino.

We are in L107 on the Majestic this week to Alaska.  Like you, we have been aft-facing cabin fans, but I’ve had my eye on these four Reserve Collection cabins for quite sometime.  We were in the next door (L105) mini-suite on the Discovery to Hawaii in March and loved it.  
 

It can be either very windy while sailing, or quite calm if the prevailing winds are coming from the aft towards the front.  The views coming into port are fantastic.

@pd7277 Ha!  My wife hung out at home when I went on my first solo cruise a few weeks ago and spent quality time in the casino. 

 

(Yes, we are happily married, but I have more vacation time than her; and the casino offer was too good to pass-up!  Doing a solo cruise is a blast!)

You would think that Princess would have somebody dedicated to all the deck plans/website changes , but I’m sure it comes down to lack of  money ??

We are definitely a society now hooked on technology and fast information. But apparently Princess and possibly other cruise lines and other businesses are just not in the mood to update these things that we all rely on.
Agree, the barrel chairs have been gone for a long while And some sort of chair needs to be brought back, but I guess that’s not happening. I know my mom when she cruises totally misses the barrel chair because otherwise when there’s two people in a cabin, there’s nowhere to sit except for the desk chair or the bed or if you get a cabin with a sofa, which she says isn’t very comfortable, but better than nothing at all.

thank goodness for this forum so we can all help each other out with  what is real/ true on the deck plans and other “stuff”.

We are use to being on a Celebrity S-Class ship.  The bar in the casino doubles as the sports bar with multiple TVs.  AND there is no smoking.  The last Princess cruise I took was in April 2022 on the Emerald.  I don't recall there being a smoking issue on that ship.  Oh well, we'll figure it out.

There is definitely a smoke issue in the casino on the Enchanted. While there is a non-smoking section, the entire casino is very small and the smoke permeates the whole place. I am hopeful that the slot area they are creating in Take Five will be non-smoking.

I play craps, so it wouldn't help.  Very disappointing, but I'll survive.  Thanks for the advance warning.
