Jakefromcanada Posted April 25 #1 Share Posted April 25 I know you can't typically book beverage or internet etc for one day....but if i decide i want to add drink package or internet etc on day 2, 3, etc of my 4 night cruise for the remainder of the cruise can i do that on a pro-rated basis ? ie. pay for the days left in the cruise instead of the whole duration of the cruise? I will be sailing Royal Caribbean - Nav. of the Seas out of LA to Ensenada April 29-May 3rd. and have $200 onboard credit to use and already have spa services booked on another segment of my 2 week vacation. I know $200 won't last long with a few drinks and or food at Sports Bar (will be there can't miss hockey playoffs ) and possibly internet access. None of the excursions seem to catch my attention. TIA.

TIA. Sometimes when Liquor Sales are down they will add a Bucket of Beer sale or Punch Card but typically only to meet Quota in Alcohol Sales. Also with Internet a one day or Prorated but still going pay more then preCruise purchase. Like Renting a Car, A high 3-4 Days and 7 Days end up being about same price
BND Posted April 25 #3 Share Posted April 25 You can absolutely purchase 24 hour increments of internet. You can also buy an internet package prorated on any day. Pretty sure drink packages are for the length of cruise only.
firefly333 Posted April 25 #4 Share Posted April 25 I buy wifi "for the rest of the cruise" and wait for midnight when 1 days worth is subtracted and its repriced. About 3 or 4 nights before the end depending on price. I get 2 days free wifi and the discount pops up and I pay the different. Yes you can buy for 1 day, but also for the rest of the cruise. I've seen a few posts for a 10 drink card for $100 on wonder, not sure how often its offered onboard. The drink pkg usually not offered after day 2.

Unless things have changed post shutdown, you can buy the drink package whenever you want but it has to be for all the remaining days of the cruise. There is a cutoff point usually a couple days in. On a 4 night cruise I'd be very surprised if you could buy it after day 2.
Rare CruisingWalter Posted April 26 #7 Share Posted April 26 According to the Royal Caribbean FAQ, you can only purchase the drinks package up to 72 hours in advance of your cruise or on the first day of your cruise. Sounds like after Day One, no more offers for the drinks package. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/beverage-package-cancellation-policy
Sunshine3601 Posted April 26 #8 Share Posted April 26 Guess their marketing people wants to make people believe you must purchase early. I have definitely seen drink pkg sales after day 1.
