The Scurvy Pirate Posted May 23 #3 Share Posted May 23 (edited) I do not believe Royal will status match your casino player status. What I can say is that on our last cruise my wife got to prime (2,500 points) and is now getting multiple free cruise offers (granted they are interior/ocean view) plus she gets all Prime benefits, including a free interior cruise for two we can use before next March 31, free casino drinks, 30% off intenet, etc. On the last cruise I got all of 8 points, only 2,492 points from Prime (basically played my free credits everyone gets). Last week I got a free cruise offer for an interior room for one person. I was shocked I got anything. Edited May 23 by The Scurvy Pirate
leaveitallbehind Posted May 23 #4 Share Posted May 23 (edited) Can't confirm casino match, as I would think that would depend on partner programs with each cruise line. But I can confirm there is no individual loyalty program status match. However, within the RCL family (RCCL / Celebrity) there is loyalty program reciprocity of tier benefits at certain tier levels when sailing on each other. Weluv2cruise2gether Posted May 23 #5 Share Posted May 23 We used to solely cruise with NCL (21 cruises and platinum plus) and we always booked with their casino for the perks. However, when we switched to RCL, there was no casino match or loyalty match. FYI: we feel the casino perks are better with RCL!
mistertomatoe Posted May 24 #6 Share Posted May 24 They had a match a while back that I didn't qualify for since I sailed with Royal recently. The terms are here: https://www.clubroyaleoffers.com/TermsAndConditions.asp I can't seem to find the form though. Maybe they ended it. Carnival/Princess/Holland America will also do a match through an online form. I have third highest status (Ruby) on NCL vs Prime on Royal and I agree with others. The perks seem better and they are way more transparent on what you get as far as offers. I have already booked 4 cruises off one cruise getting Prime and new offers keep showing up. I get emails and I can find them online with this: https://clubroyaleoffers.com/PlayerLookup.asp NCL's Casino program feels like a chore to deal with. There's that stupid NCL admin fee of $20 per person per day they charge for comp cruises too.

I haven't yet, but I am going to spend some additional time in the casino's on my next 2 trips and who know, maybe I will also get an offer. From what others are saying here, it does not sound like a bad deal for @alezal32 even if he can't match point for now.

But it does not take much to attain Club Royale Prime status. Then you will get some room comps. You will also be starting over with your loyalty status.
