gottagoacruzn Posted June 13 Author #5 Share Posted June 13 Oh, thanks for the info. Have sailed on the Vision twice an like it. Right now, its the smallest ship in the fleet. Don't like these mega ships.

But Vision is very close in size.

njkruzer Posted June 14 #8 Share Posted June 14 We sailed her April 2002, repositioning San Juan to NYC. First ship with passengers allowed in after 9/11. It was a lovely trip. She was still called Nordic Empress then. I don't think they changed the name until they decided to send here on cruises to Cuba.
Rare MandyMooToo Posted June 18 #9 Share Posted June 18 We were on her next to last sailing when covid hit, I believe. Disembarked March 7th and all hell broke loose shortly thereafter. We really enjoyed the small ship, and the staff was terrific, even though we are mostly big ship people.
Rare twangster Posted June 18 #10 Share Posted June 18 As Julie Young, one the Empress HD used to say, she was the smallest ship with the biggest heart.
GJustice Posted June 19 #11 Share Posted June 19 We were on her (Nordic Empress) in 1993. First cruise we ever took. Our In-Laws introduced us to cruising. 🙂
