Britannia Embarkation Lunch

Hi All,

Has anyone been on the Britannia recently.

If so is the embarkation lunch presently a sit down or buffet?

 

Not that important, but I would like to know what to expect.

Currently on Britannia and boarding was crazy, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Why was it crazy?

Took an hour of standing to get to the check in desk. You couldn't sit in Ocean terminal and it was a free for all as they were ignoring the arrival times. My cruise review is underway!

Where you priority?

Only Mediterranean but there were queues for suites and Caribbean tier and above. They had 27 check in desks for 4000 odd passengers. Our check in should have been 15:15 but we got on at just gone 4 after arriving at 2:50

Depends on the number of eligible passengers and available staff.

We were on Aurora for B2B cruises last autumn, for the first one week cruise we had a really good sit down meal.  For the second thirty night cruise, there were a high proportion of priority passengers and only a very poor buffet was provided.

 

Hence I would expect that to depend on the individual cruise, probably on all ships, as mentioned in the post I have quoted.

It was a very nice sit down lunch on my 2 back to backs on 10th and 24th May.
