oh thanks for telling me this and it might help me next year. BUT you did use a TA and I book all on my own.  But I will take your experience and see if I too can do this next year,  I would not just show up and hope a seat is available but would provide info ahead of time and get a transfer ticket.  Overall a lot of cruiselines want us to buy air through them to get transfer,

Interesting but NCL is offering Precruise 3-4 day London cruisetour with hotel and transfer.

So I am doing that later after the other trip.

FYI - You can secure your airport to ship transfer (or vice versa) under the Flights section of your booking in your Personalizer, if you booked your cruise directly through Princess. There is also a place to post your Independent Flight Information there as well. If you book your cruise through a TA, they have to make the transfer reservation for you.

Just tried to book the Hilton and found out they are sold out : (

Found an alternative with Radisson Blu. They are close to the Airport and has a shuttle.

Radisson Heathrow was terrific. McDonald’s next door!

I have been checking the hotel rates for Barcelona next year. I noticed they removed the daily rates from the website. Makes it hard to compare rates or perhaps they are in negotiations with the hotels. I am currently on the Princess waitlist for Barcelona.

Were you logged in at the time? When I checked yesterday, I just went under booked passenger and no pricing. When I logged in, and checked, it showed pricing, this was for Rome. I am hoping that they will be updating, the one hotel I wanted, is closed next year for renovations, so curious if they will add a different one.

I look on the main page and it usually includes all the ports with hotel packages/ price per passenger. I was told they are still negotiating hotel prices for my 2025 cruise. This gives me an idea of the cruises that I may want to book and average hotel prices.

Us too. I made back up reservations at the Marriott. Seems dodgy that they’ve not cleared the waitlist yet

It sort of blows my mind that they don't reserve more rooms as there is almost always a waitlist. This is easy money for Princess.

Has anyone heard back from Princess about pre hotel waitlist for Barcelona? I’m debating if I should reserve a room and not wait. I still have some time.

There is nothing wrong with reserving a hotel that allows you to cancel with no penalties.

Do the prices offered include tourist taxes? The Italian govt is considering bringing in an up to €25 per person per night tourist tax to stay in hotels. Maybe Spain is considering the same hence the slow update for next year and beyond.
