cruising deacon Posted July 14 #1 Share Posted July 14 Can I call room service any afternoon to order afternoon tea service in my stateroom, or do I have to pre-order it?
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted July 14 #2 Share Posted July 14 Tea service in your stateroom is an Elite perk so the phone call is not charged the $5 room service “delivery” charge. You need to place this order at least by the morning you would like it. Preferably the night before. One order is more than enough for 2-3 people. Be sure to ask for several carafes of hot water, cups, plates, and tea bags. You can specify what you want.
wallyj Posted July 14 #3 Share Posted July 14 I think only offered if it will also be a ‘sea day’? Thought you also needed to request at least night before, morning of might be to short of notice.

dog Posted July 14 #5 Share Posted July 14 We had to order it before 3 pm the day before we wanted it on both the Royal & Regal. No charge for elite .
Kay S Posted July 14 #6 Share Posted July 14 After years of being Elite, I finally got the free tea perk in the cabin last year. There is LOTS of food! I stored some in the fridge for breakfast for three days.
Mother Mary Posted July 14 #7 Share Posted July 14 Isn’t this a perk for suites also??

But you "may be" charged the $5 for calling in your order if you do not have Plus/Premier. I know...

Kay S Posted July 14 #10 Share Posted July 14 Sandwiches, pastries, cakes, cookies, scones, and all the assorted condiments. I don't remember any candy. Oh, and several kinds of tea (in bags.)
