In line at 952, they have not opened the terminal yet, probably at 10 if memory serves me correctly.

My check in time is noon but they usually don't enforce it if you are here before it gets busy. Hopefully that will still be true today.

Thanks for giving your check in time. I have 11:30 but I guess like before it doesn't really matter. So no long lines when you arrived?

Too bad no exciting shuttle ride. I wonder if that lady riding on our shuttle got hooked on cruising. She sure was excited about her cruise.

Enjoy your lunch!

She sure was! Her enthusiasm was so infectious!

No line maybe 20 or so waiting to be let in and then we were off. Very smooth from start to finish.

I got quite the surprise on the scale today. Down 2.4 over yesterday.

HA! I fly from the West Coast, and I always say the best way to lose 2 lbs is to fly Southwest from CA to FL, MD, or NJ: you end up dehydrated and starving by the end of the travel day.

My sister and I are one the Freedom from 9/15 to 9/22, and I'm grateful for your posts here. Especially any food photos in specialty restaurants, as we have the dining package.

Thank you!

I'm already so glad I did not get the dining package this time. I'm so disgustingly full right now. Seven days of this I might die. I have at least two more trips here and I may pop into Playmakers at some point.

My cave for the week. Nice and chilly in here just how I like it.

D+ amenities waiting for me.

Those will most likely come home since I get free drinks from the casino.

I just realized I forgot the mobile bar. I packed an extra so I would have a water bottle to take ashore guess it will be converted into the mobile bar now. It has a crack at the top so I will need to be careful with it.

I didn’t get an invite, you meanie. But I’m here now, and will start at the beginning.

Right, I’m caught up now, you may go ahead and enjoy yourself. Hope your finger is OK. Is this a another RC ship with little connection to the sea?

Interesting to see that there are curtains in your cabin.  Thought they were all taken away - haven't seen them in awhile.

May I ask which category cabin you are in?  Is this a full size sofa?

Also, do you know how you change your choice of D+ amenities?  I'd like to double-check what I asked for!

Thanks & hugs,

NJ

You used to be able to take care of your D+ amenities yourself by logging into your account on the RCI website. Now you have to call to make any changes. That is unless something has changed that I am unaware of.

My finger seems to be healing nicely. Still a little sore but I barely notice it. Should not impact my sleep going forward at least.

Glad you made it, albeit a bit tardy.

Slightly older ship and much better views out to the sea. It features a nearly full wrap around promenade deck It does not wrap around the front, but you can take a set of stairs up which will lead to the helipad, which is where I will be taking in the sail away from. The views to the sea from the inside are still not great but the outside promenade deck is a great feature over future generations of Royal ships.

Thanks!  Yes, I remember that - it was great to do it yourself.  I know sometimes you can change your vino, etc. onboard if you find a nice bartender - but will give them a dingle...

Hugs,

Standard inside cabin as far as I am aware. I may need the curtain, when I gave my room number to the host at Giovani's he said "John and Andrew". I am not sure who Andrew is, but I will insist on a curtain if he is booked into this room with me.

I have always made my changes onboard with the Loyalty Ambassador. I believe if you want to do it before boarding you will need to call in and have it taken care of.

I really like having access to the bow and helipad on F class ships.
