Quebec City excursions from cruise port

I'm trying to identify excursions that leave from the port. Are there any companies that do this? Viator doesn't list the port as a pick up place which surprised me. Suggestions?

We took the Taste Trail on the Island of Orleans tour through Quebec Bus Tour company last September. Pick up and drop off was at a bus stop at Le Chateau Frontenac Hotel. They offer a number of tours. Our email confirmation ticket listed the address of the pickup location. We took a taxi from the port to the bus stop. After the tour, we rode the funicular  and walked back to the port.

Also keep in mind that Viator isn't an actual tour company-- its an aggregator like Expedia is for flights and hotels. Most of the time you can get a better deal and more flexibility dealing with the tour companies directly rather than booking through Viator.

We will be doing that tour soon. Can you please share more about it?

We also booked a tour of Chateau Frontenac. Just saw a romcom on Prime that featured that hotel and likely L'Ile Orleans: French Girl. Great scenes of Quebec! And a cute movie.

The tour description and short video on the booking page gives an accurate description and feel for the tour. There are also many photos on Tripadvisor reviews. We had visited Quebec City before on a land trip so we wanted to get out to the countryside and see the Island of Orleans. We enjoyed this minibus tour, which was well paced and relaxing. We had small tastings of chocolate, nougat, wine, cider, and strawberries and the opportunity to buy local products at the establishments we visited. The tour price was very reasonable compared to ship tours.

We just did Montmorency Falls on our own. We Ubered both ways: from Gare du Palais to the falls it was $15ca + tax and the return to the Visitor Center was ~ 25.

We arrived as they were opening at 9:00, and were able to show our tickets to get into the parking lot. The pick up driver had no problem getting in to pick us up. There sss s lovely restaurant at the top that opens at noon.

Thank you! Did you take the cable car up or did you walk up the steps? I read there is 400 steps which seems like a lot.

We took the cable car up. It was just re-opened after maintenance. You can get your tickets online and skip the local line.

Just want to report back about our tour with Quebec Bus Tours, Taste Trail on Ile L'Orleans. It was a great tour with the first stop being the Chocolaterie. There was a Celebrity tour bus there at the same time as our 24 passenger bus arrived. All I could think was those 40 people probably paid twice what we did for the same experience. Our other stops included a cidery, nougat candy maker and winery- samples included on all four. There were only English speakers on our bus so our guide Celine didn't have to address the group in French.
