Two pints in my local £7.00 🙂

In my Bolton "local" my beer of choice, Holts bitter, is £3.70 per pint. Guest beers like Timothy Taylors Landlord can cost up to a whole £4.00! Lagers cost between £4.00 and £4.50. The most expensive draught beer is Beavertown's Neck Oil at £5.50 per pint.

Blimey, a pint of cider or lager in my local is £6. Mind you that is on the sea front.

Mine is on the sea front too, but on the North East coast of Scotland, and not  a tourist spot.

You get the same space. You're just not sharing it with anyone.
The bed is still there.

Double bed space. More room to put stuff, to stretch out, to lay clothes on etc etc. Space is space. Doesn't have to be floor.

I always have beds configured as singles as use the spare one to keep stuff on that I would have otherwise put on sofa or the side. Couldn’t do that if I was sharing. Like wise all the cupboard and wardrobe space is all for me. Totally agree with FangledRose.

I'm seeing almost £14 for a pint of lager and a gin and tonic from recent reviews.

We have only ever sailed Royal so P & O is new to us and its fair to say our booked cruise for a similar cabin is considerably cheaper than we are used to.

The drinks prices seem about par but the P & O drinks package is an absolute bargain compared to Royal.
