Cat’s out of the bag in the Mediterranean thread, so figured I’d start this thread for updates on the next voyage.

Moving cabins on Sunday, thankfully to my personal favourite on the ship. Will have to go out in Southampton for a small bit of clothes shopping as I only packed for a week.

Hoping I don’t forget to sign the Cruise Critic book this time (again…)

Can I ask what is your favourite cabin? Nice to know for future reference if you are not on board! 🤪

It was a bit of a typo, I meant cabin location.

Historically the lower middle is the best for movement, however, if you can put up with movement (which in my case I’m happy to) - a 10 second walk from Stairway A is the best on Queen Anne for me.

In my cases, other than the current cruise, I’ve always been Stairway A deck 6 or 7 - which is great for getting to Commodore Club, Library, SkyBar, as well as Room 1840 (favourite bar), Golden Lion & Queens Room + Bright Lights.

Just makes everything so much closer.

New cruise card has arrived today, which is a relief given I also had an email saying the payment had not been received! I’m sure that was the system being weird as it was last minute, though.

Unfortunately no lie in tomorrow given I need to collect my passport at the immigration inspection, however a very fortunate problem.

I started checking prices again, I really want to stay on ....

Me too I would loved to have stayed on in August after Med jolly. I did book for December 2025  Christmas markets when onboard. Just one of those other  way oriented insides as they looked interesting.

We booked a b2b but booked as two separate cruises so we could take advantage of double obc/internet perks and stock perks etc and luckily [a nervous minute or two there] in the same cabin.

We will have a new cruise card but as we don't want to get off in S'ton at all, do we have to exit the ship in order to check out our cruise card and then have our new one registered or can it be done at the front desk or better still, by the Grills concierge?

What was your experience MylesS?

You’ll need to go down to the gangway, scan your old card, and then your new one.

The new card has been given to me at least 1 night before in all Queen Anne b2b cases.

Unless there’s an in transit gangway, I wait until the final disembarkation call to swipe the cards.

I picked up the Mercedes F1 car technic set in Lisbon - I’ve done 3 bags so far as it’s a bit more complex.

Ah, fantastic! I'm contemplating a set or two when we board. Look forward to following along on your voyage for non-LEGO updates (and feel free to share the LEGO build shots too!)

Relaxing evening last night at the bar, didn’t really do too much as I was rather tired.

I’ve booked the tours I fancied via My Voyage while there, after which left me with $1 OBC, so I can’t complain that my tours were covered.

During this I ended up giving 5 or 6 people directions after they assumed my loyalty pin meant staff.

It seems like last night we detoured to Plymouth, assuming that was for a medical emergency. If there’s any update on that in the noon announcement I’ll report back.

Black & White Gala this evening, planning to visit Aji Wa again with a visit to Noir later on.
