Great photo ... isn't it?

I note the Noordam was docked on the otherside from the Zuiderdam when you were there.

 

It doesn't happen very often ... but it does happen.

Mary, great picture:) I just love it when two HAL ships are docked together and really neat when they are both the Vista Class. The way the picture is angled you really get the feeling of how very large the ships really are and they tower above the people on both sides.

I like it anytime when multiple damships are in port. It always makes for neat photographs. Like this one ... from Astoria Oregon when the Zaandam and the Amsterdam were in port at the same time. It's taken from the Sports deck of the Zaandam,

Amsterdam's gangway looks particularly long. Probably would have been too steep had they used a shorter one.

Greg, Keaka and I had the same tour guide in Dominica for our first tour! She actually asked me to go into Duty Free and get her some vodka and gin. . .
