maggieq Posted June 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Where can I get the info. for this ship? There is none to be found on the celebrity website. Thanks. Maggie
Richard Stein Posted June 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2007 I got a card from Celebrity on this ship as I am an elite member and can find no information on the Celebrity web site or any of my usual sites. Local AAA agent does not have brochures yet.
cruisinelsewhere Posted June 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2007 Deck plans, itineraries and cabin descriptions can be found in CC section of Celebrity's website. Prices and reservations are only available through a special invite-only phone number for Captain's Club members until 7/5. Hope that helps. Rare Host Anne Posted June 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2007 Here's a link to the Captains Club page where you can see deck plans and itineraries. There is no pricing on the website and booking, like the previous poster noted, is only available to Captains Club folks until July 5. https://rccl.bridgetrack.com/07/Solstice/cc/default.htm?ProspectID=E1C56C309D584C09A34F5C27E9A47E02&SRC=PGI110127 Hope this helps! psychboss Posted June 24, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 24, 2007 I will confess that I am really excited about the cruise. We are currently booked on 12/14 in a CC cabin. But now that I read that BLU is going to have mostly same menu as Main Dining room and Aqua Class will have CC amenities we are thinking of changing to AC. What have you all heard about Aqua Class? Richard Stein Posted June 24, 2007 #8 Share Posted June 24, 2007 I did get weekly cruise maps and layouts of cabin, but nothing showing where dining rooms and other things I am interested in are in relation to various type cabins. I am interested in being near elevators and places we want to go to. Deck plans do not come up on my dial up connections. I am over 65 and cannot afford DSL. evoni Posted June 24, 2007 #9 Share Posted June 24, 2007 It's not your dial up connection at this point. The only information showing up so far are the layouts and locations of the cabin. The location of the dining rooms, casino, bars and other features are still being held as a Celebrity secret. :)
chessbriar Posted June 25, 2007 #10 Share Posted June 25, 2007 The only thing they are showing at this point in the cabins. More information will come out over the next year.
Richard Stein Posted June 25, 2007 #11 Share Posted June 25, 2007 I called and am not giving them a large deposit on something I cannot see as far as some deck layouts. I will consider booking this when brochures are out.
rollie Posted June 26, 2007 #12 Share Posted June 26, 2007 My big question is, will the aft cabins have bigger balconies as on the Millie class ships?? Doesn't look like it by the floorplans. Rollie
SF Posted June 26, 2007 #13 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Is CC category still going to have the same amenities like on the other ships? If I read correctly the only difference for the AC category is that they will have access to the spa facilities and the new aqua specialty restaurant, is this correct? wolfganghowell Posted June 27, 2007 #14 Share Posted June 27, 2007 We have Aquaclass on hold but I would really like more info too. Yes AC gets all the CC amenities plus access to Blu and Persian Garden. But do we get priority spa appts? When is Blu open - just for dinner or can you have breakfast and lunch there? Are you still assigned a table in the main dining room? We may switch back to CC if we can't get some of this figured out.

Leela Posted June 30, 2007 #17 Share Posted June 30, 2007 Are you still assigned a table in the main dining room? We may switch back to CC if we can't get some of this figured out. I just put AQ on hold for February 8, 2009. I asked about the seating in Blu, and was told that Blu has two seatings and you get assigned a table there, not in the main dining room. Blu is set aside for AQ guests, but others can book in if there is availability. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me, because it seems like people booking in would be stuffed into tables of 'every night' diners, but I think at this point all information is confusing at best. I figure as I find out more, and if I don't like what I find out, I'll just move my booking to another ship or another cabin category. After all, I take an X cruise once or twice per year anyway.
