Egypt & Eastern Med

Recommended Posts

I didn't write a review... I wrote a novel. I journaled my entire

trip with what we saw, who we used, and how much it cost. It

ended up being 31 pages long. If anyone cares to read it,let me

know and I'll forward it on to you.

Hi CAT GIRL - Please send me your "novel" as well - rochfordmarcil at yahoo dot ca (note: it's ca and not com).

Thanks alot!

We did the E. Med 12 nighter last Sept. It was my first time to

Europe and I'm in love. We stayed in Rome a few days precruise.

I can't even tell you which port was my favorite. It's probably a

three way tie between Rome, Naples, and Turkey. Rhodes was a

pleasant unexpected surprise. A nice port to just walk around. Oh, gosh, I forgot about Mykonos. I just loved the whole thing. We did

private tours in all the ports--even Alexandria. Let me know

if you have any questions.

In Sept. the weather was perfect and the seas were fine.

please email me your 31 page novella--I would love to read it! lori@evenseninfo.com Thank you so much in advance. I'm in the middle of trying to get my private tours in order.

For those of you planning your trip, my biggest regret was

not getting into the Vatican SCAVI tour. Tickets need to be

requested months in advance. I bring it up now because maybe

you still have a chance.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about this itinerary? Interested in booking Jan or Feb 09 - weather, seas (alm or rough) ports of call etc

Thanks

I did this on Oriana (P&O) in November 2005 and it was wonderful. Cadiz, Malaga, Sardinia, Port Said, Rhodes, Limassol, Ephesus, Athens. The seas were mostly calm aside from one night. Egypt is amazing, as is Ephesus. Not sure any cruise lines sail this route in Jan Feb though.
