Last Minute Question

Recommended Posts

We're at the Hilton in Atlanta tonight and flying out tomorrow morning for a quick little trip on the Enchantment! We usually put the luggage tags (the colored ones with your cabin number) on after we get to Florida, but this time we're going to be in a hurry to get to the port when we land in Fort Lauderdale. Is it okay to put them on before we get to the Atlanta airport tomorrow morning or is it better to do it when we get to Fort Lauderdale? Will they rip them off in Atlanta when we check them?

You do run the risk of having any tags ripped off but the "Air-Carrier" to avoid confussion.

I would save the RCI tags. When you go to the airport baggage claim and collect you luggage in Ft. L, then put them on. It should only take an extra few seconds.

Hope This Helps.

With the way air travel is these days, I wouldn't do anything to confuse the poor airlines. I'd leave the tags off until you retrieve the bags at your destination. Plus, the airline might impose an excess tag surcharge!
