Nick cruise...parents sail free!

It says that you would pay the minimum sailing price for 2. So these are the rates. And yes, we have done both Freedom and Independence for cheaper.

But it's not as bad as the Fam of 4 price they were charging.

FAMILY OF 2 Price

Inside 2 $2,899

Promenade Inside 2 $2,999

Outside 2 $3,199

Balcony 2 $3,799

Junior Suite 2 $5,599

So are these the prices for a fam of 4 under the "parents sail free" promo?

I glanced at it pretty quickly. But it said that you would use the cost of the "lowest first and 2nd rate". But then it said "limited availability". So I don't know. Those are the original prices for the "Fam of 2".

I believe so. These specialty cruises are expensive. There is a review on cruise critic from a member who went on one. You may want to check it out.

No kidding! I went to the RCCL web site and looked at the prices for Mariner for the previous week - it was 1/2 the price! It looks like Sponge Bob and friends are going to make some serious money for the line and Nick!

I think instead of doing this I would rather take my son to spend the night at the Nick hotel and have breakfast with Dora and Diego and then take a regular Freedom cruise out of Port Canaveral.

We did the dinner with Mickey this year for his 3rd birthday and he loved it. So for next year's birthday that is what we are doing - a night at the Nick hotel.

Yep exactly. I said that unless Spongbob is my personal nanny for the week, it just doesn't make sense to pay double the price. ;)

The Indy cruise started at $349pp inside GTY. Some of the Freedom and Liberty cruises have balconies for $899. Their "inside price for 2" is just a little bit off. ;)

Agreed, the only thing I can think of to justify the price is that the slime must be really expensive to make.

  • 2 months later...

Has anyone decided to go on this cruise? I know it is over-priced but my daughter is celebrating her 10th birthday so I decided to go ahead and spend the extra money. We are all set for the East Coast trip on the Freedom of the Seas. Just wondering if anyone else had decided to go?
