Hi everyone. I've posted before but before realizing coupon was lost/tossed in garbage  I now have one in my hand and need to get this to a first time cruiser ASAP. If you have paid in full, have no other On-Board-Credits, and would like a coupon, please email me at jdsax - at -comcast -dot - net and I can get your details and mail the coupon off to Seabourn immediately. We are sailing 15 October so we need to get the coupon off ASAP. We are located in the U.S.

Just received some new referral coupons. Anyone planning on sailing for the first time on Seabourn sometime soon? We leave on Nov.1, and sure would enjoy both getting, and helping you get, that $400 onboard credit!! We fondly remember OUR first referral credit.. paid for internet and massage, as I recall!

Email me at JohnandSteve at aol dot com.

This is for anyone that isn't aware of this (like me!). I referred a couple, they and we are paid in full. I travel next month and they travel the next. Seabourn just emailed me that they will pay the referral credit to them, but not to me, because my cruise is not after theirs...

Hi there,

We are first time cruisers on Seabourn and have a booking on hold for Nov 10. I will make final payment tomorrow. We are booking through an interline agency. Does anyone want to do a referral? And does this count with interline bookings?

email Brucory: bruroberts at hotmail dot com

Thanks :):):)

Brucory,

email on the way.

Dave

Thanks Dave and the others who sent offers for the referrals.

As Steve007NY found out, we are not eligible for this offer. It is such a good one too! For those that can enjoy, what a great incentive!!!

I have NEVER heard of this. I just sent two coupons in, both for folks traveling after me. I am reading the back of the referral coupon, which says NOTHING about this, only that the new folks must be paid in full.

I agree. I was very surprised. Here's the email I got:

We are writing to confirm that we have received the referral coupon referring Mr. and Dr. xxxxx for their November 2012 Odyssey cruise. We have applied the referral onboard credit to their reservation xxxxxx as requested.

As you do not currently have a reservation for a cruise on the same date or a date after Mr. and Dr. xxxxxxx sailing we are sending you a referral certificate. It will go out in today’s mail. When you make your next Seabourn reservation, please return the certificate to us with your upcoming booking number so that we can research and apply the $400 referral onboard credit to your reservation if applicable.

Additional instructions, terms and conditions will be included with the certificate.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Seabourn is delighted to welcome you back on board in October.

Kind Regards,

Jennifer

I emailed for clarification and got this response:

Thank you for your continued correspondence with Seabourn. Under the referral program if the new guests you have referred cancel their reservation and do not sail the referral coupon would no longer be valid. Any referral onboard credit that had been applied for the referral would be removed and any certificates sent for the referral would no longer be valid. This is regardless of whether the referred reservation had been paid in full.

This is why the guests being referred must sail before the referring past guests can use the referral onboard credit. The referral onboard credit can only be applied to a reservation for the referring past guests that embarks on the same date or a date after the referred reservation. This ensures that the referred guests sail before the referral onboard credit is used by either party.

As the reservation for Mr. and Dr. xxxxxx embarks November 3 we would be unable to apply the referral credit to your October 20 reservation. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause.

A referral certificate has gone out in today’s mail for you. When you make your next Seabourn reservation, please return the certificate to us with your upcoming booking number so that we can research and apply the $400 referral onboard credit to your reservation if applicable.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Seabourn is looking forward to welcoming you on board the Quest in October.

Kind Regards,

Hi, we were talking on another thread. I would, of course, be interested but I have already paid - about two weeks ago. Will that work?

Yes you can submit it until 10 days prior to sailing.

my email: robertmurphy9999 at gmail dot com I will leave this email here for a couple of minutes and hopefully you will email me for the coupon info.

The coupon entitles the new cruiser to a $400 ship board credit, and the referring past passenger the same on their next cruise. The coupon is due at the time of final payment. (This is why I suggested that you ask for one when you know you will be sailing).

We were thinking of a first SB transatlantic with just one port of call during the cruise, what sort of things can you spend $400 on bearing in mind SB is inclusive, we are not spa users and we wouldn't want fancy pay extra drinks?

And is the $400 stackable with Carnival Stockholders $250 OBC?

Do SB have any future cruise deposits like some other lines?

Or military OBC?

thanks for any pointers on this.

Outside of the spa, there is always the gift shops and the casino. Any leftover funds can be contributed to the Crew Welfare Fund which is nice to do. I never heard of a future cruise deposit fund nor a military OBC. I do believe the credit is applicable with the Carnival Stockholders credit.

Not sure what classifies as a fancy drink, but they are included. There is a wine grouping that you can purchase, however.
