That was going to be my observation as well about the length of the Zuiderdam's dry dock! We board the ship on April 19th 2017.

I see that the Rotterdam is scheduled for a drydock a month and half after I am off of her. I hope she is in pretty decent shape while I sail.

I just noted that the 15 February 2017 Zuiderdam now has two groups sailing. Both groups only have two 'faculty' listed on their brochures. To me that might suggest relatively small continuing education groups. In other's experience is that a reasonable assumption?

Thank you for continuing to undertake this task! I know it must take a lot of your time, so I just wanted to let you know how much this cruiser appreciates it! I check your list before I book and every time it the update comes out, right up to final payment, just to make sure we're not trapped on a cruise with what could turn out to be an unpleasant situation! :D

Here's a link for the National Review cruise Nov 13 on the Nieuw Amsterdam. Strikes me as likely to use enough facilities to possibly be disruptive. There's a fairly large faculty and you have to believe it's going to take a fair number of cruisers to pay them ...

That was my assumption as well when I found these two groups and passed the info on to Carol. They didn't look to be large at all (50-ish?).

That knitting group on the Zaandam could be trouble :)

We cruised with this group on the Eurodam (which we love) it was a nightmare of closures all over the ship the entire cruise. Never Again!

The Oosterdam charter listed from Jan. 7-14 2017 is not correct. I don't know if there is still a charter, or if the dates have changed, as I am booked on the Oosterdam on a 14 night Southern Caribbean cruise sailing January 13 out of Tampa.

Carol has two dates listed above - the second one per the charter's web site appears to be the correct one, January 27-February 3. It's possible the dates changed or someone reported an incorrect date here to Carol (the January 7 date).

Thank you for pointing out the discrepancy listed for the Oosterdam...I will look into it, and correct on next update...Meanwhile I want to backtrack and see how,why and where I picked up that date:eek:

It is a very valuable service, and it is very possible she was given bad information. I only know that my information is correct-my cruise is paid in full, and I have not heard a word that those dates are wrong.

Very sorry, but when I was given both dates, I entered them both, hoping someone would confirm or elaborate as to which was correct -

I apologize for the dual entry and again, YOUR DATES AND CRUISE are correct.

That is why I like getting feedback, and in all honesty, I do not think I have made that many boo-boos over the years.

THANK YOU for posting this information. I had been worried that there might be a large charter on my upcoming cruise. I'm quite relieved.

I've read anecdotes of particular charters causing unpleasantness for fellow passengers.
