My recent experiences

We are just off the Island for a b2b Panama Canal cruises. A couple of things that I had seen previously on these boards.

We had an excess of OBC. I tried to get cash for it from the front desk and the casino, but was turned down. $100 was for the Loyalty credits, and was refundable. We should get that in 4 to 6 weeks. I must commend my wife, she rose to the occasion and we left behind a total of $2.01.

Prior to the cruise, we purchased two bottles of wine each. I also printed the boarding passes for the second leg. When we were directed to the wine table during the boarding process, I showed the boarding passes and had no trouble bringing on the extra bottles with no charge.

My question is: HOW did you try to get the money from the casino?

The normal practice would be to create a casino account, put all of the money into the account, play slots or whatever for a while, then cash out. At that point they will give you the money. If you just go to the casino and ask for the money you will be denied.

Yes, you are allowed to bring the 750ml wine bottle.

Yup. We end up doing that on almost every cruise. We get lots of OBC.:D

I believe that OP was stating that he was able to bring on two bottles of wine/person corkage free when he embarked on the first leg of the B2B with no issue.

This is correct. We took 2 bottles each (750ml). I showed our boarding passes for the second leg.
