complimentary restaurants on Oasis for lunch first day??

Recommended Posts

We like to avoid the buffet on the first day of a cruise. We will be taking our grandson on our trip on the Oasis in June. He loves chicken fingers! Any ideas where we might find them when we embark other than the buffet?

Thanks!

Chicken Fingers = Buffet

But other places include Sorrentos Pizza, Cafe Promenade, Boardwalk Dog House, Park Cafe; don't recall if Solarium Bistro and Wipeout Cafe is open on Embarkation lunch (if so, Wipeout Cafe might be worth a shot)

It might be, hopefully someone will answer. Allure started oepning the Wipeout on embarkation day in 2013, so one might Assume Oasis does too. I'll find out in 359 days. :D

I actually remember a review a few months ago from someone who was pissed there were no chicken fingers anywhere on the Oasis. I laughed at the time, but if it's critical to your grandson it might be an issue. It looks like chicken fingers are on the MDR dinner kids menu. . .but not at lunch. I'm sure you could ask your waiter since they are offered on the dinner menu.

I thought the food at vitality cafe had an charge. There is no dollar sign on the listing that was posted though. Can someone confirm.

I thought it was for a fee too, but according to RCI it is included :) One month until we board!

Some items are no extra charge (wraps) and some items have an extra charge (smoothies).

Maybe smoothies are drinks. I always said that a strawberry smoothie was a virgin daiquiri

Solarium Bistro absolutely IS open for lunch on embarkation day.

They do not, however, serve chicken fingers.

Their menu features "healthy foods" and chicken fingers are NOT. ;)
