Fantastic review, much appreciated. We are on the 9 night Northern Europe in October and it will be our first time on this class of ship so it's very helpful to see all the options! Especially appreciate the various drink menus as it is always fun to see the drink options.

From the looks of the Cruise Compass you're posting, Navigator has added some nightly entertainment. I have the 5 day from a few weeks ago and it seemed somewhat...sparse in comparison. Looking forward to last 2 days (we leave Sunday on same itinerary in our first aft JS).

Was the Diamond lounge very crowded in the evenings?

We never went to the diamond lounge in the evening. I've got the last two compasses coming up though!

Quick question since I saw you were in the casino, is it non-smoking? I just ask because my Mom and I are doing a 5 Day on the Navigator on 2/25 and she recently quit smoking. I'm just trying to help her be prepared cause we tend to spend a lot of time at the casino and I'd like to let her know what to expect.

I just showed Bill your photo...and I guess we might have met you somewhere onboard. I probably should have talked up Cruise Critic, but didn't on a 5 night. There were a lot of first time cruisers onboard.

Nope they are all still giant clouds of cigarette smoke. A lot of people don't even gamble they just go there to smoke. Good for her for letting go it's not easy and she will always have cravings best plan after meals take a walk outside, do something that's when cravings are the worst do not go to the casino then.

There is a "non smoking" section, but you can still smell it. You just don't have it blown in your face.

It's not. One side is smoking, one side is non-smoking. The only differentiator as ARcruisingnana points out, is you won't have smoke blown in your face! [emoji12] I quit smoking cigarettes 51 days ago--Although I'm using an e-cig occasionally. Wishing her strength! This cruise was a true test for me, but I did it!

Thanks for the great review and the photos. It sounds like you had a great cruise! My husband and I will be boarding Navigator in 247 days for 23 nights (10 night Canary Islands b2b with 13 night TA), our first trip as Diamond! I'm really looking forward to seeing all these things in person.
