It seems like a lot of drinks won't be covered by the drink package. Is that the case without paying an up charge?

 

 

 

I have yet to pay an up charge. But my husband will tell you I'm a cheap date [emoji23] I've only ordered one beverage over $12 and it was an ultimate Margarita at Sabor which was $16. I assume the wine menu gives you the greatest opportunity for upcharges

Somehow you managed to plan almost the same vacation as I did. We'll be staying at the same hotel pre cruise, same ship, same itinerary, and we're going to Nachi also. So great to get an early preview of what I'll be doing in a couple weeks.

We haven't sailed RCCL in quite a number of years, been hanging on Celebrity, but going on NOTS for the Transatlantic in late April.

 

SO, on the MDR menu, am I to understand that there are price adders for some of the menu items???

Like a filet or lobster?? I saw no other beef on the "non-charge" menu?

 

 

Am I misunderstanding what I saw?

 

 

Also, I have to say, the breakfast room service menu looked very sparse.. No bagel, no omelette?

On the classics portion of the menu, which is no charge, there is a strip steak, which is offered every night. Although I can't say I'd recommend it. From my experience, they haven't been very good. If you call room service to place your order, rather than using the cards you leave on your door, I'd say you have a pretty good chance of requesting a bagel. However, your out of luck on the omelet I believe, at least from room service. Unless you stay in a grand suite or above, in which case you can order off the menu from the MDR.

There are a few specialty margaritas at Sabor. The last time we sailed, and I tried to order that same margarita at the R Bar, and he didn't have all the ingredients for it, but went over to Sabor to get them. And, no. It didn't taste the same [emoji4]

Good morning all, and welcome to Day 4. Today we will be in Cozumel, and have an all inclusive beach day booked at Nachi Cocum.

 

It's still pitch black out, so no sunrise yet. I'll try and fire up the next round of photos while the wifi is cooperating.

 

Casino Royale.... not the "most exciting place to be" as the signage would suggest. No luck for me this week. Notable tho, is there are many $5 minimum tables, which was not my experience on Harmony, where all the table minimums were $10
