Changing Clocks onboard?

Hello!

I just booked a cruise on the Jewel to Mexico leaving next week, Puerto Vallarta is 2 hours ahead and I can't remember if the ship stays on Los Angeles time, or if it will change to port time?

I'm trying to book a few excursions locally and not thru the ship. Can anyone help?

Norwegian will always show the PORT time, they will have you advance your clocks by leaving a note on your bed the night before. You can also find the port website and looking at the docking information of your ship, that will be local time as well.

You MUST go by SHIP'S time....always. All of the ship;s clocks will show the time...set your WATCH...not your cell phone!...to whatever time the ship's clocks say. If your tour starts at 10am...show up at 10a SHIP'S TIME!

Ship's time is always set to local port time. You are always notified of changes to ship time.

All NCL cruises we have taken change the clocks to reflect port times. We usually get a lot of notification to turn back the clocks and then set them forward again when we take long cruises from Boston in the fall.

You will get a card with your "Freestyle Daily" that will tell you what to do with your clock/watch. Do it and use that for the time NOT your phone/computer. The "Freestyle Daily" will also remind you. All the ship's clocks automatically adjust to the time changes too.

That is not true. With NCL, ship's time is usually set to local port time, but there are some exceptions.

This is correct - read Freestyle Daily throughly (besides the separate "time change notice" card, time changes are printed on the cover page too) and one'll be fine.
