Flo71 Posted May 28, 2015 #51 Share Posted May 28, 2015 There is a recent thread (within the last few days) where someone just posted a picture of the embarkation day menu. ;) Thank you will search for it now. :D
Colo Cruiser Posted May 28, 2015 #52 Share Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Thank you will search for it now. :D I tried to find it myself but it has alluded me. I think Caribill posted the picture of the menu? Might be buried in another lunch thread. Edited May 28, 2015 by Colo Cruiser

suzyed Posted May 29, 2015 #54 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Regarding lunches (and breakfasts) in the MDR, is it possible to have your own table for two, or is it required that you join other parties? Depending on our mood, either would be okay, but I sort of hate joining a table that is already underway with their meals and conversations. Depending on the people involved, it can sometimes be awkward to join midstream. Thanks. If we don't request a table for two (or 4 if we have our friend with us), we tell the host that we only want to sit with "nice people" and I'll be darned....it always works out! LOL ;)
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted May 29, 2015 #55 Share Posted May 29, 2015 ColoCruiser - yes I'm sure I will get what I ask for. And I guess a 'dollop' is not a deal breaker. But call me old fashioned - and I'm sure you might want to - but the correct spelling is tarte with an e. As my English [or in this case French] teacher taught me, there are only two ways to spell - the correct way and the wrong way. Sorry - getting a bit serious - a tart is a tart, unless it is French tartE tartin! Actually it is a tarte tatin, there is no "r" in tatin. wowzz Posted May 29, 2015 #56 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Actually it is a tarte tatin, there is no "r" in tatin. Correct - serves me right for trying to show off! I'll go and sit on the 'naughty step' for an hour.
