We were in that same Palapa back in March. It sure was an easy walk to all that delicious food! Though I learned my lesson when they said that one sauce was hot because they weren't lying! Lol

Loving this! I log on as soon as I get home from work. We booked our first Escape cruise for last October because of your first live review of the Escape. We loved it so much we are back on it this October with this Itinerary. So Excited, can't wait until September 30th!!!

My first glimpse of the leader board and apparently #s haven't been entered yet. I'm being told this requires a manual count... scanning the participants' daily charges and recording the selections. Yikes!

Killing off the easy day-drinking beers...

So... The next time you happen to find yourself in the District Brew House, with a camera in one hand and a beer in the other, would you be so find as to take a picture of each of the beer menu pages?

You'll have to trust that my "camera" is in my hand.

I'm back in the room, questioning Sue if we really want to wait until 9pm for LeBistro. Day-drinking-since-11am sort of demands Food Republic, IMHO.

Not sure how convincing I was.

I just called and cancelled LeBistro. We still have 1 meal left on SDP, and LeB & Cags is booked solid for the rest of the week. Do I remember correctly that this can be used at Pinchos for a small up-charge?

I did head down to LeB to see if we could move up our reservation. I arrived on Deck 6 to find 12-14 people in line, and they most certainly DID NOT appear like they had been day-drinking since 11am. I was too embarrassed to even join the line in my current state, so I went back to the stateroom to call and cancel.

But not before this...

Doug, if you want to change a dinner reservation don't deal with the people at guest services, call the food & beverage director whose number is on the card they gave you at the Cruise Critic Meet and Greet. I believe his name is Kivanc. He will magically get you whatever reservation you want...

You can use your remaining SDP at Pincho Tapas for a $7 per person up-charge. Best part is you can enjoy it for lunch or dinner and you don't need a reservation. We finally tried it on our last Escape and will definitely go back again.

You're doing great....can't wait to see where they have you on that DBH leader-board:D
