  1. The "app" installed on the desktop is a browser link to the CC web page. Simply login to CC using the same account credentials on all devices. It is possible to have multiple devices logged into CC at the same time. They work independently from each other, so a post created on one device must be completed on that device. A post read on one device will show as read on all devices (when the page is refreshed on those devices).
  2. Consult the original for yourself, https://www.carnival.com/help?topicid=3409. US requirements, https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/western-hemisphere-travel-initiative.
  3. It seems to me that any venture proposing annual costs less than the cost of a year on a mass market ship is suspect.
  4. 😄 That would be called cheerleading.
  5. Being skeptical of success isn't a desire for failure.
  6. System designs have to take into account edge conditions. While you may not have experienced a particular situation you can't say that it has not and will never happen. In my (unrelated) experience, the most reliable systems are rarely the most complex.

  8. At a guess you disabled your notification default. That will not affect currently followed threads. To do that go to the roll call thread. Find the Following button, tap / click on it. Then tap / click on Unfollow.
  9. If you are Canadian citizens travelling on regular passports no visa is required for visits up to 90 days. See Entry and exit requirements, https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/australia. An ETA, (electronic travel authority) is required. An ETA is valid for 12 months permitting multiple visits of up to 3 months each. ETA are easily obtained using the official Australian government app. The government web page (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601) suggests that most ETA are granted immediately.
  10. There is a link at https://www.hollandamerica.com/en/ca/about/our-company/accessibility/special-requirements.
  11. It's only usurious if one doesn't value the time and bother required. I don't think anyone is forcing the use of CIBT.
  12. Likely depends on if you are looking at a charger sold in N.America or Europe. All my N.American plug USB chargers have a circled UL symbol.
  13. At https://www.gov.uk/guidance/check-when-you-can-get-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta#who-can-apply-from-27-november-2024 see Who can apply from 27 November, 2024. No idea if ETA s required for BVI,
  14. This would be true of any mass market cruise line.
  15. There is no topic area "Shore Excursions". For what the OP described the best solution is to find the "Roll Call" for the booked cruise. Within that thread one can ask about, propose, and arrange excursions. @Host Kat's post has guidance and links to access roll calls. To research possible tours and venues of interest on should use the https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2-ports-of-call/ area.
