We just got off a Mariner cruise with one of our sons and his family (two tweeners). He had to go to Guest Services and set a limit on the boy's cards because of the Arcade charges they were running up!

On our Reflection cruise last summer, the only things that I remember being noticeably different were that there were a lot of Duck entrees and I never saw a Tartare or Carpaccio appetizer offered.

The app is no longer supported on Android tablets. Ironically it works fine on my wife's Ipad and Iphone. For my last cruise, I bought a cheap burner Android phone and just used it as a WIFI device (didn't activate it with the phone carrier). That worked fine.

Sounds like some of y'all have irreconcilable differences and need to start playing the field...

Just got off the Reflection that had the same overnight. You can stay off the ship all night if you want but they quit running the shuttles at 11:00 PM as I recall. On the departure day, all aboard was at 5:00 or 5:30 as I recall.

Currently on Reflection. All aluminum all the time here.

So yesterday I get an e-mail from Celebrity that our move up bid was accepted (yay!) and about the same time I get a text from AMEX that Celebrity had charged my card for the amount of our bid (double yay!). We look on the app and sure enough our cabin assignment was updated to the class we bid on. This morning however, the app shows us back in our original cabin but the charge is still there (boo!). I'm telling my wife that nothing's final until we show up at the pier but the fact the charge is still there (and we got a congratulations e-mail) makes me reasonably comfortable that we'll get something. What do y'all think?

Well, I will offer a (minor) success story. Thanks to all of you on this thread, my wife and I have gone from 737 to 749 and stand on the very edge (get it?) of Plus status. Will we get that last point before our August cruise? Time will tell...

I am one of those weirdos that still carries a flip phone, mainly because I'm cheap and my wife has a i-phone anyway. On previous cruises I've used the Celebrity App on my tablet but that's not a thing anymore as others have noted. So, here's my big idea. What keeps me from going to Target and buying a $30 tracphone (or similar) as long as it has a recent version of Android? I wouldn't even bother to activate it with a Carrier, just use it on WIFI here at home and on the ship. Maybe I would have to remove the SIM card. I don't see why this wouldn't work but I'm checking to see if anyone has tried themselves. Thanks in advance.

We just got off the Equinox September 8th and the two ESPN channels were never available in our cabin.

FWIW we got on the Equinox on August 29th and no one ever asked to see our vax cards....
